Greeting’s, Mystic Meows!
With Valentine’s Day in just a few days, I wanted to post another sweet recipe using one of my Sweet Magick Infused Sugars. This time around I went all in and doubled down on the chocolate… Literally. First I made Food52’s Chocolate Swirl Brioche, which was super easy to make. Great recipe! HIGHLY recommend, meows… With a little twist of my own using my Mystic Seasoning’s brand Choco Cinna Bliss sugar. An organic cane sugar infused with Tahitian Vanilla Bean, course ground Cacao Nibs, and Ceylon Cinnamon. Very simple, but pure and delicious and added in with the 60% bittersweet chocolate chips, created something extremely magickal! The added crunch from the cacao nibs along with the sweet kiss of cinnamon and vanilla was absolutely lovely!

Once you have the ingredients gathered, the brioche dough itself takes about 2 1/2 hours for both rising stages. It can be easily done early in the morning if planning out a late brunch, or dessert. Or made late in the evening like I did so it was ready to go the following day. Food52’s recipe is really easy to follow and I had lots of fun making it!

Then as if that wasn’t enough chocolate love…

Peep the details!!

Then I rolled this bad baby up as best as my little hands could muster, let it rise for a second time, brushed it with egg wash, and baked it off for 35 minutes. And let me just say that I was quite pleased with myself at the results. As I’ve stated before, I’m pretty confident in my abilities to cook and bake, but there’s still always a chance that after all the time and work you put into it, it might not turn out as expected. But meows… MEOWS!! BEHOLD!

And then once she was sliced into… I was so proud of that Tim Burton looking swirl of chocolate decadence, that I had to take a zillion pictures and pat myself on the back for a job well done!

But of course I had plans for this chocolate loaf of love. I wanted to make French Toast with it for brunch the following day, and that’s exactly what I did. My suggestion to you meows if you’re going to make French Toast or bread pudding with the brioche is to make sure you have plenty of the custard base made cause these slices soak up a ton of that milk and egg, so mix up slightly more than you’ll think you’d need. Thank me later… 😉✨

I drizzled her with pure maple syrup and ate the daylights outta this thing! Such a decadent breakfast or brunch fit for any King or Queen, Prince or Princess. Once you have the Chocolate Swirl Brioche Bread made, do with it what you will. But the addition of my Choco Cinna Bliss really took it to another place. An added bonus worthy of any romantic day or night. I hope you meows give this recipe a try and that you try out my products as well! I put my heart and soul into every batch of sugar and spice that I make. All organic, pure, high quality ingredients made with the best of intentions, and of course… Love! Until we eat again, meows… Happy Valentine’s Day & Happy Cooking!
Cheers, hugs, and meows!
